Wild Thing

One of Eliza's favorite things to do is grab a book, waddle over to one of us with it in her grasp, hand it to us (really more like drop it at our feet), then she turns around and plops down in our lap, ready to hear the story. After that book is read to her, she jumps up and grabs another! She could do it for hours! In fact one of her first words is "book" (she knows three words: dad, drink, and book).

Here is a video of Eliza and Dad reading "Where the Wild Things Are". This is one of her favorite books and when we read the part where the wild rumpus starts, Eliza (as you will see) knows exactly what to do and starts making noises right along with us. So cute.

  1. That is awesome! What a cute girl. Nick should read stories to my kids. After watching him read to Z, my kids are getting a raw deal. :)

  3. It's actually my version of the rumpus because Eliza was bored when I read it the first time. Now she anticipates it and Nick stole it from me! I had to claim credit for it :)
