Spring is my favorite time of year and this has been one of the most beautiful in recent memories. Maybe it's the flowers that seem so much brighter, or the sunshine is warmer than I remember. Even the mud-luscious rainy days don't seem so bleak! Maybe because Eliza is just so much fun to play with outdoors. She loves it. She explores everything and looks so happy. She makes me happy.
We went out on Saturday to explore the beautiful parks in DC. We went to Kenilworth Park and the National Arboretum. We saw turtles, snakes, fish, geese, mud, flowers, trees, bees, blossoms, sunshine, and grass. It felt wonderful!
