We went down to Williamsburg to visit our good friends, the Stakers, who moved there recently. It was fun to see their new place and see them again. Leah is getting so big. Eliza loved playing big "cousin" to Leah. The only problem with the visit was it was WAY TOO SHORT. But we had fun anyway.
We went to the Farmer's Market.
Then over to a cute little bridge for a photo opp.
So cute!
For the 4th of July we were back home. We thought Eliza might like sparklers and a few colorful fireworks. We were wrong...really wrong.
She freaked out as soon as we lit a sparkler. She kept saying "hot" and trying to get a away. We were shocked! She is usually so brave and likes things that most kids get scared at. Not this time.
This pictures makes me sad. Huddling in a corner to get away.
So sad! So scared! Poor little girl.
But as long as they weren't lit, she was fine. Even had to stop her the next day from carrying the extra's we didn't light off around the house. Silly girl.

The trip was too short but it was also so much fun. Thanks again for coming! I want to know what in the world is the pink stuff in the bucket in front of Eliza? Too bad she didn't like the sparklers but I'm totally with her on the not wanting to get burned part. Hot!
ReplyDeleteGlad you got to go to Williamsburg. The pictures are beautiful.
