First Snow of 2012

We had a little surprise today.  It snowed!  Eliza saw it first and declared "Snow, Mama, snow!"  So we bundled up and headed out, not knowing how long it would last.  She loved every minute.  She tried catching the snow in her hands and mouth.  She slipped down our little hill next to our house and then just decided it was easier to slide down the hill.  She was very wet when we went inside and shivering.  So we took a hot bath, made popcorn and hot cocoa and bundled up on the couch to watch a little tv.  Next thing I knew, she was sound asleep.  Now that is how to get a toddler to take a nap!

Oh, and she dressed herself!  Note the sweat pants (she asked for soft pants not jeans), mismatched gloves, ariel pajama top, and my hat.  There is no accounting for style!
